We’ve been on Khloe and Lamar Odom’s case for a while now. We’ve been following up his infidelity rumors, drug addiction, Khloe Kardashian denial for a separation, Lamar’s 5-day disappearing act and now, Lamar’s departure to rehab! Well, it seems what’s missing in this list of events is Khloe’s family familiar opinion.
Well, big sister, Kim Kardashian who is presently a nursing mom -to baby North West- claimed she was shocked to hear about her brother-in-law’s addiction and said she would be there when her sister needed her. Yes, she has been there but did that involvement include a divorce mentor-ship?
We understand that experiencing two failed marriages and couple of public relationships makes you an expert but is a divorce advice the best solution to your younger sister? What happened to “divorce is the last option” or “We are family, we are there for each other”? We didn’t remember Khloe telling Kim to go kill Ray J for releasing that stupid “I hit it first” single even though it was embarrassing to the entire family.
A close source stated that “Kim’s advised her – Khloe – that if she’s going to give Lamar another chance it needs to be the final one. Although she knows Khloe is hurting and is embarrassed that this is happening so publicly, she feels it might be better to call it a day like she did with Kris Humphries”. Mind you that marriage lasted only 72 days and she was never in love with that husband!
Yes, drug addiction and cheating seem to be the apex for which a partner could file for a divorce but lets also be realistic that for the former NBA player to agree to go to rehab shows the dude truly wants to get his act together before he regrets losing his loving wife and his happiness. Isn’t that something worth a second chance?
But if he dives into that nasty life style again (after this rehabilitation session), then all of us will rally behind mama Kim to kick him out, right?
