Eva Alordiah Joins Miley Cyrus & Others For A Michael Jackson Swag!, Sexy or Nasty?

The legendary Michael Jackson left behind uncountable legacies but most prominent was his dance! The pop king had just too many dance steps too but we can recognize any if we see them. That being said, musicians both home and abroad usually carry on with the ‘Jackson swag’ intentionally or otherwise just feeling the pop star or carrying on with his bequest. Nigerian female MC, Eva Alordiah recently posted pictures from the set of her upcoming video, “Lights Up” and apart from her seen holding tight unto the Grammy nominee, Femi Kuti, the rapper was also seen holding unto her…er…er…crotch?

The rap star does strange and beautiful things in her mix but was this sexy? If we could remember the just ended MTV Music Video Awards, we would definitely remember Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus twerking and holding unto her…er…er…crotch? She’s been heavily criticized across the world but the singer later posted pictures of herself with her now signature swag and again agreed to be ‘having issues’. We couldn’t remember the reason behind that move by Michael Jackson himself and may not even get a true answer now. In his very first live interview with Oprah Winfrey at his California home, the king of Pop explained why he always grabs his crotch, “If you are on stage and there is music, you have to go by the music…I just interpret the music with the moves. I become the music so every instrument or organ is what I follow. I become a slave to music…it’s the music compelling me to do that not because I want to insult anybody. Sometimes I don’t even know what I did until I watch it again on TV”

So there we have it, it was something he did not even knowing but is it the same for our stars these days? Do they do it because they want to imitate the legend or do it because they just want to get naughty in front an audience full of very young people? However the case, there are hundreds of artists who find it stupid stylish to carry on with that move on stage whether they are dancers or not. If an Usher, P-Square, Chris Brown or Dipp does it, one could get it but Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Eva Alordiah, Madonna too? They don’t have a ‘crotch’ per say so why is their hand going down there?

Some parents find it immoral, insulting and very stupid like it’s some public announcement that you are sexually active. Lol that’s crazy but it’s the truth. “I don’t even know what it means, so when a girl does that, I find it very nasty and irrelevant” a neighbor, 78, exclaimed while watching Rihanna on TV. I couldn’t blame her at all. Question is was that the only dance step Michael left behind? Why do some artists do that crotch-grabbing thing and then raise their middle fingers to the crowd again? Doesn’t make any sense! Well, maybe something should be done about it, may be not but what do you think about that famous Michael Jackson move being used by the present day artists, they way they use it?
