The World’s Tallest Man Gets Married!

The world’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen [2.51 metres] has found a bride! The Turkish groom married a Syrian woman, Mervi Dibo in the south eastern province of Mardin on Sunday in a lavished wedding.
Although the 31 year old man appears a giant to his 20 year old bride [1.75 metres] , Kosen says, “I cannot describe my feelings in words. I have found the love of my life.” He was also quoted as saying, “I am the happiest man in the world” during the wedding celebration, according to the state-run Anatolia news agency. Kosen’s bride Mervi Dibo, who hails from the Syrian town of Hasaka, added: “I hope this happiness will be long-lasting.”
According to Anatolia, the groom’s black suit was custom made, requiring six metres of fabric.
Born into a farming family in southeastern Turkey, Kosen won global fame in September 2009 when Guinness World Records declared him the tallest man in the world. He was then 2.47 meters tall. His growth was resulted from a tumor affecting his pituitary gland.
Reports say US doctors treated Kosen‘s tumor in August 2010 in the state of Virgina with a precisely targeted shot of extremely high frequency gamma rays, using a non-invasive radiosurgical device known as a Gamma Knife.
Last year, doctors said Kosen has overcome acromegaly, a rare hormonal disorder that caused him to keep growing well into adulthood.
Kosen is forced to use crutches in order to walk. But we say congratulations!!

Beverly Osu Finally Wakes Up

Former Big Brother Africa The Chase housemate, Beverly Osu, may have finally woken up from her love-struck slumber as she has now dissociated herself from two-timing lover boy, Angelo Collins.
The South African who came into Nigeria a few weeks back to attend Bev’s birthday and also meet her mother, posted on his Twitter handle after going back to his home country that he has gone back to his girlfriend, Candice Arends. That move must have hurt Bev so much that she has decided to take the reins of her life, take stock and move on.
She has even blamed herself for letting down her guards and allowing the playboy to toy with her heart and emotions.

A Fake R. Kelly Dupes Fans In Louisiana

The King of R&B, R. Kelly was nowhere to be found at the R.Kelly Live In Concert in Louisiana last weekend as fans waited for three hours after buying tickets to the show. Instead, a fake R. Kelly showed up late and lip sung throughout the concert, according to 8 News.
Reports say fans haven’t stopped complaining bitterly after paying good money [$150] only to get a lip-synching impostor perform in the same concert at the Monroe Civic Center,La. Organizers apparently advertised the singer Saturday night [Oct.26] but once a performer finally took the stage, it wasn’t the real R.Kelly.
According to an eye witness, the same guy was spotted in a local restaurant earlier that day and when fans ran to him for pictures and autograph, he shunned them and took off almost immediately. It was the same guy who rocked the stage R. Kelly was suppose to perform, hours later.
Now, those in attendance want their $150 back!
The promoter of the show, Cedric Johnson [for Ced’s Black Tie Affair] had earlier said [through a text message to KNOE media] he would honor refunds but later, he claims he didn’t send any text message and wouldn’t refund a dime to anyone.
It’s still unclear whether R. Kelly was actually ever scheduled to appear at the concert because according to reports, promoters are denying that he was supposed to perform, while attendees maintain the performance was advertised.
The singer, whose new album “Black Panties” is scheduled for a December release, has not commented on the Monroe concert. He performed Sunday night in Southaven, Mississippi, according to Kelly’s Instagram.

Nigerian Comedienne Princess Expects First Child

This is surely good news coming from the home of popular comedienne, Princess, (Damilola Adekoya), as she is expecting her first child by the month of April, 2014.
The buxomly humour merchant who got married to her sweetheart in Lagos in May, 2013, is already in the second trimester of her pregnancy and those who have seen her of recent say she is resplendent and really looking like an expectant mother.
Princess who has been a fixture in comedian Tee-A’s show on television, is one of Nigeria’s most versatile rib crackers and she carries her punch lines with great panache.

OJB Discharged From Indian Hospital After Surgery

Our very own music producer, OJB, who has been in an Indian hospital in the past few months to undergo surgery over a kidney-related ailment, has been discharged after a successful surgery operation.
OJB, who is credited with charting the musical careers of top stars like Wizkid, Mode 9, Basketmouth, Abounce, Nomoreloss, Ruggedman, C’mion, Jazzman Olofin, Azadus, Lexy Doo, D’banj, 2face, Paul Play, Sir Shina Peters, had the opportunity of traveling to India for the operation, courtesy of the helping hand of Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and some entertainers who came to his aid when he cried out for assistance, is now sound and healthy and in an emotion laden letter, he thanked Nigerians for their support, prayers and good wishes. Dear fellow Nigerians,
Greetings from far away India! I am sure this note from me will catch you with a little surprise. I have been reading a lot of news about ME being published on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and different Blogs by my good friends.
I thought I must take out a quick moment and let you know that I am officially discharged today from the hospital, after a successful Kidney Transplantation Surgery, by God’s Grace. “Iyanya Will Not End Well” – Yvonne Nelson

It is apparent that Ghanaian star actress, Yvonne Nelson, is still very bitter over her split with Nigerian singer, Iyanya Mbuk. The actress is not in a hurry to forgive the ‘Kukere’ crooner for hurting her after she spent over 8 months of her life dating him, giving him her ‘waist’ and love. She is angry that after all she did for him, Iyanya still had the heart to leave her. The distraught Yvonne further said that her ex-lover will not end well if he continues breaking ladies’ hearts.
“Iyanya needs to be more honest and be a man of his words. It’s not good if he keeps taking advantage of women. My mum always says any man who takes advantage of women won’t end up well. It’s called Karma; it’s going to come back to you. He will not end well,” the heart-broken Yvonne said. She further advised the ‘Your Waist’ singer to “treat women fairly and be an honest person.”

Wizkid Takes On Tonto Dikeh On Twitter

It seems the apparent closeness that existed between musician, Wizkid, (Ayo Balogun), and actress cum singer, Tonto Dikeh, (Poko), has collapsed completely. The duo, who at a point were suspected to be in a love affair, have been taking every opportunity to attack one another.
Now the buck has stopped on ‘Star Boy’ Wizkid, as he took ‘Poko’ to the cleaners over a twitter update she made recently. ‘Wizzy’ did not take it kindly with the way ‘Tontolet’ spelt the word ‘success’ as ‘succezz’, and did not wait a second before dissing her with his own tweet.
We are anxiously waiting Tonto’s reply which is sure to come. She does not suffer fools by the way.

The creator of the dance had pledged to reward anyone who can dance better than he did in the instructional video he created some few weeks back; and the response to the challenge has been massive, with entries coming in from all over the world including Europe, Asia, South America and the Oceanic countries.

What The Hell Is 2face Smoking?

Emeka Ike: Nigerian Producers Hate Me Because I Speak The Truth

Nollywood actor Emeka Ike is back, not on the screen, but with another allegation that Nigerian Producers hate him for speaking the truth. In an interview with Nigerian films  in Lagos today, the controversial actor stated that he can’t get movie roles just because he stands against sexual harassment in the industry.

We got part of the interview word for word, so please take a read:

“If you knock at their office and you can’t sleep with them, you won’t be allowed to act. Is it fair to tell a girl that ‘if I don’t sleep with you, you won’t get my favor ’ if God does that to us, where would we be today? This situation is a general norm. Ask the smallest artiste about my position on the situation. I have stopped productions severally because of this (sexual harassment). That’s why sometimes they get issues with me.
Emeka Ike narrated an ugly incident he witnessed on a movie set, he said,
“There was a day I saw a girl crying at a corner of a movie set, her name is Esther. She is a make-up artiste now because she has stopped acting for them (emphasis). I approached her and asked why she was crying. She was lamenting like a girl who has just lost her mother. She told me that ‘look at the girl going with my script, that ugly animal. The producer said if I can’t sleep with him, I can’t get the script.” 
He continued, “She mentioned the name of the person. So because she can’t sleep with that man, she has to be marginalized, Kai! I have something against that. If a girl wants to sleep with you because you are a star or because she likes you, so be it. Don’t arm-twist someone. That is rape!!!! Abroad,you will go to jail for even suggesting it to her.”
Emeka Ike dished out an advice to Nollywood veterans,
“You need to be responsible and responsive to the younger people you have exposed acting to. You need to stand up and fight for them. Right now, they are interested in acting and there is no place to go to. They go to Ajao and they tell them open your legs. Is that what we made the industry for?”
Emeka Ike also had proof!
“I gave the lady her artiste fee that day. Go to Enugu and ask of Esther, the make-up artiste. She will tell you about this story. That is why they don’t like me.”
