Ex Gospel Singer "Maheeda" Blasts Pastors

One time gospel singer and self-confessed prostitute, Maheeda who was named Caroline Sam by her parents, is one lady who will not stay out of the news by all means.
And this time, she has taken a swipe at Nigerian men of God, and women of God for good measure, as well as other Nigerians who frown at her recent daily posts of her nude pictures. Maheeda, who had, at one time, claimed to have given up her past life, has been, in the past few weeks, the subject of disdain as she keeps churning out her bare pictures, with various lewd comments, sending signals that she has gone back to her weird ways of life.
But the lady has come out to defend why she is doing what she is doing. In a scathed attack at ‘self-righteous’ country men, she had this to say: “When I was preaching, nobody cared. Now, I’m showing my ass, even pastors come around.” She went ahead to further boost her attack on her twitter handle.

See Who Davido Is Balling With In London.

Nigerian Afro-pop star, Davido sure knows how to pick his friends from any part of the world. The “Skelewu” crooner dropped a va-va-voom tweet picture yesterday from London with him and four times African Footballer of the Year, Samuel Eto’o Fils showing off some blings!
Although the singer omitted the Cameroon/Chelsea FC striker from his “Gobe” lyrics, Davido had two other ways to relate with the one-time worlds highest paid football player – his love for The Blues and his 750,000 Naira expensive Custom made Rolex watch! Wonder what the 20 year old singer wants to do with Eto’o after this show off?
Bet Davido didn’t have to staple words to the pic, for the image spoke for itself and that could be “me chilling with a VVIP”.
Not so bad Davido, we might just see Eto’o dance “Skelewu” after his debut goal for Chelsea FC soon.

Jonathan ineligible to run in 2015 – New PDP

The leadership of the New Peoples Democratic Party has  said that  President Goodluck Jonathan is not qualified to seek reelection in 2015.
The reasons why he cannot contest, according to the group, are: The 1999 Constitution, an agreement the President  entered into and his open statement in Turkey in 2011.
The President had  on Monday said that the 1999  Constitution allowed  him to be in  office for a maximum of eight years.
He had said, “Already, we have a constitution that makes provision for maximum of eight years for anyone who wants to become a President or a governor.

“There is no President or governor that all citizens vote for but at the end of the election, if somebody emerges, you must allow the person to work.
“If you love your country, you would want your country to work. That does not mean that you will not vote against the person if you don’t like the way he works, but you must allow him to work.”
But the New PDP, in  a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Chukwuemeka Eze,  warned  that Jonathan’s second term ambition was not in the best interest of the country.

“After reviewing the state of the nation and the pulse of  Nigerians, we wish to advise President Jonathan to abandon his plan to seek re-election in 2015 as this   is not in the best interest of the country,” it added.
Admitting that  the President had  yet to categorically declare his intention to run, the New PDP  said  he had  given enough clues that he  would do so.

The  statement reads, “We are worried that Mr. President is intent on running despite his earlier promise not to do so and in spite of the wise counsel of well-meaning Nigerians, including respected elder statesmen.
“In February, 2011 while interacting with Nigerians and diplomats working in the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union in Ankara, Turkey, President Jonathan clearly stated  ‘I would have loved that the Nigerians in  the Diaspora vote this year (2011) but to be frank with you, that is going to be difficult now.

‘Presently, the law does not allow the voting outside Nigeria and so this year, Nigerians in Diaspora will not vote but I will work towards it by 2015 even though I will not be running for election.’
“Mr. President went ahead to add, ‘Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot do anything even if I am there for the next four years.’

“This is a historical fact which Mr. President himself cannot deny now since he had two years to deny that statement but never did so.”
It asked the President how he would want Nigerians and the entire world to see him if he eventually makes a U-Turn.

“Why can he not keep his words as a man of honour instead of allowing himself to be misled by selfish advisers to go back on his words, thereby overheating the polity?”
The faction  called on the President to heed the advice of well-meaning  personalities such as  Prof. Ben Nwabueze (SAN) and Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, all of whom   had advised him to correctly read the handwriting on the wall and stay away from the 2015 presidential race.

While saying that by 2015,  Jonathan would have been in office for six years, it added that this was enough time for him to achieve whatever he planned for Nigeria.
It  said, “What else is he looking for that is making him desperate to participate in the 2015 presidential election despite warnings that doing so may spark a chain of events capable of culminating into the country’s disintegration thereby bringing to pass the predictions of Lord Lugard that Nigeria as a nation by 2014 maybe history, which was later confirmed by the USA Think-Tank that Nigeria may disintegrate by 2015. “
The group , therefore, appealed to the President “to abandon this ill-advised move and save our nation from catastrophe.” It  added  that God has been merciful to him by lifting him from being a university teacher to a  President

“We urge you Mr. President to listen to the voice of reason and avoid over-stretching your good luck. A word is enough for the wise,” the New PDP  added.
Before the statement,  Eze had  told one of  our correspondents on the telephone in Abuja,  that going by the 1999  Constitution, the President was not qualified to run in 2015.
He  said, “Our position is that he is not qualified to run in 2015 because by that time, he would have been in office for six years.

“If he runs in 2015 and rigmaroles himself to power, he would be in office for 10 years by 2019 and the Constitution does not allow that.
“The President knows this and this was the reason he said in New York that the constitution allows him and the governors to spend eight years and not 10 years as he is plotting now.”
Eze claimed that  some New PDP  members  were in possession of a document where  the President promised not to run in 2015.

“We have fact and figures that the President promised not to run come 2015. At the appropriate time, we will release the document. Let him continue to make noise,”  he added.
Eze said if the President could not honour an agreement he willingly made with people without coercion, it would be difficult to take him seriously.

The Presidency  however  vowed on Tuesday  that nobody or group of individuals, including  the New PDP,  was  capable of stopping  Jonathan if he decided to contest the 2015 election.
Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak,  said  unrealisable ambition had blinded members of the New PDP  to the extent that they were no longer aware that Nigeria was  governed by  law.
He said, “The Abubakar Baraje group (New PDP)  is an outlaw as far as the law of this country is concerned. The country is governed by law.

“As far as I am concerned, there is no political crisis in the country. It is a group of few people with unrealisable ambitions that are blinded to the fact that there is a Constitution and there is the Electoral Act.
“These people, supported by the media, are the ones making a storm out of a tea cup.
“When we reach the bridge, we will cross it. But I will continue to say that nobody or group of individuals, be it the  Baraje group or not, can stop Mr. President from contesting 2015 election if he resolves to do so.
“Stopping him is abridging his constitutional right and it is illegal.”

Also, the  Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Bamanga Tukur-led PDP, Mr. Ibrahim Jalo, said that it  was wrong to equate what the President said in New York to mean a declaration of intent to run in 2015.
He  said, “The President has not said he is running in 2015 even though it is his right to do so. The President said the constitution allows him to run for second term; that is correct.
“But let me say that the President still stands by his statement that he would let Nigerians know if he would be running for second term or not, by 2014.

“Nigerians, especially journalists, should allow the ongoing peace talks(in the PDP) to work out. We should stop misinterpreting the President.”

Nigeria: Anambra Election - INEC Dumps Nwoye, Uba, Clears Ukachukwu As PDP Candidate

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Tuesday, refused to clear the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the November 16 governorship election, Tony Nwoye, who emerged winner of the party's primary election held on August 24.
The commission, which released a list of 23 governorship candidates and 18 deputy governorship candidates to fly the flags of their party, recognised Nicholas Ukachukwu as the PDP candidate.
The list was contained in a statement by U.F. Usman, on behalf of the Secretary of the Commission.
Among those cleared to contest the election are Chris Ngige of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ifeanyi Ubah of the Labour Party, LP, and Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Other parties whose candidates were cleared are AA, ACCORD, ACD, ACPN, AD, ADC, APA, CPP, DPP, ID, KOWA, MPPP, NCP, NNPP, PPA, PPN, SDP, UDP and UPP.
INEC explained that Mr. Ukachukwu was recognized as the candidate of the party because of a recent court judgment which was in his favour.
Mr. Ukachukwu, a former member of the House of Representatives, emerged second to Mr. Nwoye, at the primary election. He, however, approached a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, complaining that Mr. Nwoye was not eligible to participate in the primary for failing to pay his tax as at when due.
Curiously, the commission did not list Andy Uba, who emerged winner at the parallel primary election of the PDP, which INEC monitored.
Mr. Uba, a serving senator and Chairman of the Senate Committee on INEC, had also approached a court in Port Harcourt, which declared him as the authentic candidate of the PDP.
Despite his victory at the court, the national leadership of the ruling party insisted that Mr. Nwoye was its candidate. The PDP National Chairman, Bamanga Tukur, handed over the party's flag to Mr. Nwoye late August at a brief ceremony at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.
The INEC statement said, "Pursuant to the timetable and schedule of activities for the Anambra State Governorship schedule to hold on 16th November, 2013, twenty three (23) political parties submitted names of candidates they proposed to sponsor at the election.
"The Commission, after due consideration of the relevant provisions of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as amended), the various judgments and orders of the various High Courts on the candidates for the election, particularly those of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, approved that Form CF001 (Personal Particulars) of this candidates for the election be published.
"Accordingly, the Form CF001 of the following candidates as submitted by their political parties or ordered by the court are now being published in Anambra State in accordance with the provision of the Electoral Act, 2010 (as amended).
The statement also said it "enjoins all political parties to ensure that only the candidates above listed engage in campaigns as candidates of the political parties.

Gunmen rape girl in front of fiance, give her N500 as birthday gift.

Residents of Nsukka, Enugu State were recently stunned when a young girl was raped by some hefty men in front of her fiance and was given N500 as birthday gift.

The girl whose identity remains concealed was with her boyfriend, one Sunday Ozioko, marking her birthday when the men invaded the venue.
It was gathered that the gunmen, who reportedly rode in a motorcycle, blocked Sunday along Orba Road at 6.30pm, and took over his Camry and zoomed off through Orba Market to Obollo-Afor.

They stopped at Alor-Ano Community Secondary School, raped the girl and shot her fiance in the head.
A resident of the community disclosed that when the two sex-crazed men were satisfied, around 9:30pm, they gave the victim N500 and abandoned her at Odolu in Kogi State.

When the men realised that the girl could identify them later, they took after her again, but she escaped through a path that led her to a crusade ground, where Adonai Faith Assembly was having a vigil.

The girl was said to have narrated her horrible encounter to the congregation, disclosing that her fiance was still in a critical condition.

According to a source, the pastor of the church alerted the police at Nsukka Urban, who quickly rushed him to Bishop Shanahan Hospital, Nsukka.

We learnt that Ozioko has, however, been transferred to UNTH, Enugu, for a surgical operation on his head.
Enugu State Police spokesman, Ebere Amarizu, who confirmed the sad and shocking incident said the command was currently investigating the matter to bring those behind the devilish attack to book.

Lagosians Spend 36 Billion Niara On Parties Every Year - Gov. Fashola

Money Spraying

This may sound really funny but in these hard times, Owambe parties in Lagos State have been gulping billions of Naira, according to the state governor, Babatunde Fashola.

The governor raised the alarm at a function recently, stating that Lagosians spend a whopping N36 billion annually on partying and an additional N1.2 billion on ‘Aso-ebi’ (matching outfits).
According to him, “we did a study between October and November last year; we took just five local governments in Lagos; Agege, Mushin, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikeja and another one. We studied from Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, three days every week, for four weeks, which was 12 nights. In 12 nights, 1555 parties were held in these local governments.
In terms of drinks, food and all other engagements during such parties, about N1.2 billion was spent and when we dis-aggregated them, we saw how much went to the DJs, MCs, food and drinks, the total picture in the state now and I don’t want to give you a wrong number but it’s something in the region of about N3 billion yearly.”
The governor said that clothing materials worn during such parties, popularly called ‘Aso-ebi’, gulped at least N1.2 billion monthly.
What do you make of this? Funny, isn’t it?

New iPhone 5S And 5C Sells 9million Units In 3 Days.

Apple is breaking all kinds of records while also proving critics wrong after it has sold a record-breaking 9 million units of the new iPhone 5s and 5c in 3 days. The phones which were released last Friday to long queues in various cities across the world sold nearly twice the amount the iPhone 5 did in its first 3 days of release last year which was 5 million units.

Upon announcement, the new iPhones had been met with mostly negative feedback for its less than stellar features especially compared to other leading smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. Also, the fingerprint sensor which Apple touted as the iPhone’s most remarkable feature had been met with much criticism with reports eventually breaking yesterday that a group of German Hackers known as the Chaos Computer Club had hacked the new iPhone fingerprint sensor.

In spite of this, Apple has managed to skirt through the lacklustre response and surprise even itself with the sales figures as reports have it that the California based company has had to tweak its financial forecast to reflect the higher sales. Apple surpassed sales figures which Wall Street analysts had predicted earning a record-breaking weekend in sales and toppling the total sales record of both the HTC One and Samsung S4 in its opening weekend.

Give Me The Chance To Do My Job, President Jonathan Tells Critics.

Following the barrage of criticism directed at the presidency by the seven aggrieved governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and individuals unsatisfied with the President Goodluck Jonathan’s style of leadership, the president yesterday told his critics to stop distracting him and allow him to do his job, warning those seeking his job “not to blow up the house you are seeking to occupy with dynamite.”
Speaking at an interactive lunch held yesterday with the Nigerian Diaspora community at the New York Plaza Hotel, the president also spoke on his achievements and his transformation agenda in office, adding that when he appointed a team to his cabinet, he went out of his way not to appoint politicians but appointed transformers to help him achieve his objectives.
The president mentioned specifically, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina; and Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, whom he said he barely knew but appointed them primarily on the basis of the recommendations made to him and their CVs.
“My goal was to bring in more technocrats to the cabinet and not just political appointees. That is why I appointed the likes of Ngozi (Okonjo-Iweala), Adesina and Aganga.
“I did not know these people before I appointed them. When Ngozi was finance minister the first time, I was a deputy governor and out paths hardly crossed. But based on recommendations and their CVs I appointed them to help me in my transformation agenda.
“Each of them has performed very well and it is to their credit that we have been able to transform the agriculture sector, attract more investments into the country and kept the economy on track,” the president said.
Continuing, the president said: “The team is doing well and if given the chance, without distractions, it would do even better. Yes, we are not yet in the Promised Land but we on are track, so they should give me the chance to do my job.”
Hitting back at critics who said his administration was not doing enough to tackle corruption, Jonathan said he would rather deal with facts and numbers instead of speculation. He pointed to the agriculture sector where N25 billion was being spent on subsidising fertilizer by past regimes which barely reached farmers, adding, however, that the trend had been reversed under his administration.
“N25 billion was being spent in the past to make cheap fertilizer available which hardly reached the end users. But today, we cut the amount to N5 billion to N6 billion per annum and 80 per cent of farmers have access to fertilizer to improve their yields. Yet they say I am not doing enough to curb corruption,” Jonathan said.
Jonathan also spoke on the power sector on which he said his administration had implemented the most transparent privatisation programme that was above board, adding, “No one gave us a chance. But for the first time, the federal government has implemented the most transparent privatisation programme, which was above board.
“The winners have emerged and will be taking over the distribution and generation companies in the next few weeks.
“With the handover of the power sector to the private sector, we will begin to witness improvement in electricity generation and intend to hit 10,000 megawatts of electricity generation by next year.
“Through the privatisation programme, we realised close to $3 billion which again is the highest ever realised from the sale of government companies.
“This is unlike what obtained in the past when the process was corrupted by those who were responsible for it. Yet the same people have the temerity to say I am corrupt when they could not run a clean process.”
Speaking further, the president said his administration tried to remove subsidies on oil, in order to improve the petroleum downstream sector, but could not do so because Nigerians opposed the scheme.
“If this government was corrupt, I would not have asked that subsidies on petrol should be removed. I could have left it as it was in the past where we had all manner of marketers defrauding the government of billions of naira.
“But when I tried to remove the subsidy on petrol, we were forced to reduce it because we had to consider the demands of the Nigerian people who did not want the subsidy removed,” he said.
Hosted by Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Professor Ade Adefuye and Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Professor Joy Ogwu, the interactive session was attended by Aganga, Adesina, Okonjo-Iweala, Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, Chairman/Editor-in-Chief, THISDAY Newspapers, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Mr. Femi Otedola, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Mr. Uche Orji, among others.

BlackFace Signs 52million Naira Deal With Franchise Events Limited.

A few days after his celebrated war with his former band mate and friend, Tuface Idibia, fortune has smiled on Blackface as he has signed a N52 million deal with Franchise Events Limited.
The deal which also includes a car and a house sees Blackface become the record label’s biggest name. The former Plantazhun Boyz co-founder can now rest and let his bosom friend Tuface rest after the brouhaha about not being paid royalty for the ‘African Queen’ he claimed he wrote.
The song gave Tuface the perfect platform for his meteoric rise in the music industry and Blackface has not forgiven Tuface, letting the whole world know he has been wronged by 2Baba. Added to that was the issue of Tuface’s wedding in Dubai where Blackface said he was not invited. But last week, Tuface said in an interview that he had invited his former stable mate but he refused to come. Trust Blackface, he responded immediately, saying he was not invited. He also used the opportunity to tell Tuface to pay him the royalty.

Why FG wants ASUU strike to continue

Nigerian universities have been buffeted with agonising months of strikes for over a decade and until now, the story is pretty much the same. Government is still unwilling to give the education sector a shot in the arm.
Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has been on strike since June 30 and has dialogued with FG over 11 times, albeit, inconclusively.
This underscores the lukewarm posture of government towards the striking lecturers and from ASUU’s body language and utterances,  they have made it abundantly clear to anyone who cares to listen that they are ready to continue the strike even if it takes years, insisting that their decision was adequately taken in a bid to revitalise Nigerian universities.
The bone of contention is lucid in itself. An agreement was reached in 2009 that all federal universities would require a total sum of N1.5 trillion spread over three years (2009-2011) to address the rot and decay in the universities.
But, in the Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, signed between the union and the government in 2012, FG decided to extend the gesture to include both federal and state universities. After the 2012 review, it was agreed that instead of N1.5 trillion, FG would infuse a total of N1.3 trillion into the universities over four years.
Almost four years down the line, FG has refused to fulfill its end of the bargain. Rather than respond to the issues raised by the union that would ensure quick resolution to the imbroglio, government boycotted ASUU to summon a meeting with Pro-Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors of universities, offering them N130 billion with a matching order to lecturers to resume work immediately.
But the union is insisting that by throwing money at universities in that manner, government has repudiated the 2009 agreement it entered freely with the union and the 2012 MoU. ASUU is not making any fresh demand but has maintained that the 2009 agreement must be honoured.
It is ridiculous that government officials were quoted as saying ASUU’s N1.3 trillion demand is capable of shutting down the country. No. Their insatiable and rapacious greed will.
The private jets in the presidential fleet can fly, centenary celebrations is a priority to government, there’s enough money to pay humongous salaries and allowances to federal legislators and other political office holders, enough to forfeit to oil subsidy thieves, enough to pay militants bogus amnesty cheques and phantom contracts while they continue to bunker our crude oil like never before, there’s enough money to beg Boko Haram to accept amnesty but there is no money for law abiding Nigerian students who want to eke out a living using university education as a stepping stone. It is this kind of attitude from the government that provokes the use of brute force by some regional groups to attract government’s attention to their problems.
Government cannot claim it has no money to fulfill this agreement. A country with 109 senators earning about N19.6 billion a year, while N51.8 billion is spent on members of House of Representatives for the same period, totaling N71.4 billion.
This sum, N71.4 billion, represents 17.8 per cent of the N400bn yearly intervention fund recommended by the Committee on Needs Assessment of Nigerian Universities. Surely, our lecturers and universities where they were trained deserve more.
When we talk of heath care, government official and the ruling elite go abroad for medical attention; we talk of bad roads, they fly private jets; we talk of power, they run their homes on 24-7 alternative electricity source; now we’re talking Education, their wards are in some of the best universities abroad. There is no way the myriad of problems bedeviling the country can be tackled if the political elite don’t feel the pangs.
That Mr. President has taken out time from his ‘busy’ schedule to constantly parley with the warring factions of his party, PDP, but has never sat down with ASUU members to chart a course for Nigeria’s leaders of tomorrow clearly shows his priorities. Party affairs and chasing perceived enemies of his 2015 ambition around with apparatus of state are far more important things than bending over backwards to pander to the demands of the striking lecturers.
But then, government must take into cognisance the fact that, the longer the students remain at home, chances are that they will be lured into social vices. The aftermath can be disastrous for the state.
There are misplaced calls in some quarters for ASUU to be ‘reasonable’, accept FG’s offer and return to classrooms. Others lambast them for being self-centered and unpatriotic. It is unfortunate that Nigerians are always looking for quick fix solutions to monumental problems. Less endowed countries like Ghana, Botswana and Angola are making giant strides on all fronts because the citizenry have at one point or the other insisted that the needful be done. Here, anything thrown at us is accepted with glee.
We must get our priorities right as a country. Government must curb its own excesses. Education must be given the attention it deserves. Education of the citizenry should not be subjected to any form of Negotiation. Negotiating the education of our leaders of tomorrow is more or less negotiating the future of the country.
Government deliberately wants the strike to linger, first, to blackmail the opposition. There have been several unsavoury comments from the government’s divide of the negotiation table that ASUU has been infiltrated by moles from the opposition, alleging that the strike has lingered to gain political capital. That is how low this government can stoop. We have seen it before. It is an irresponsible and shameless government, one that lacks integrity and honesty that will blame the opposition for all its woes. It is unbecoming for the government of the day to continue to heap its failure on the doorstep of the opposition and ASUU strike is just another avenue to paint the opposition black before the public.
Second, is to send a strong signal to other unions who might be contemplating similar action to have a rethink. Perhaps, government thinks by acceding to ASUU’s demands, other Labour unions might toe the same path at the slightest excuse.
Third, the ultimate aim of government is to paint a bad image of the association to Nigerians, at least, for as long as the strike persists. The Governor Gabriel Suswan-led NEEDS Report Implementation Committee mediating on behalf of the government has unfortunately taken a position that is false, dishonest, and calculated to misinform the public and cause disaffection towards the union.
Rather than seek cheap popularity, Governor Suswan and the rest of the FG team should tow the part of honour by asking President Goodluck Jonathan to honour the 2009 agreement. There’s no basis for turning the heat on ASUU and the campaign of calumny.
It calls for worry, that same government that has always maintained that ‘our graduates are unemployable’ and our universities churn out ‘half-baked graduates’ find it difficult to commit the much needed funds to revamp the universities.

Paul Okoye Finally Proposes To Baby Mama

Paul Okoye propose to girlfriend

Do we smell a double wedding in the air? Paul Okoye, the other P-Square brother has proposed to his baby mama, Anita Atokwu-Isama and from the look of things, Paul and brother, Peter, could decide to hold their weddings on the same day. After all, they were born on the same day, right!
The engagement is coming a few months after Peter proposed to longtime girlfriend and mother of his two kids, Lola Omotayo.
Barely a few hours after they came in from their USA and Canada tour, Paul took the bull by the storm and asked Anita to marry him and she did not wait a second before saying yes. Who would not jump at such an opportunity? The engagement ceremony was attended by family members of both Paul and Anita.
According to P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu of Square Image Associates , the engagement “is an expected development, considering the love and trust that exists between Paul and Anita. They have only waited for the right time, which is obviously now. Yes, they are officially engaged now.”

Revealed! Michael Jackson Was Heading Into Movies!

The King of Pop has been gone for five years now (June 25, 2009) but he still creates the buzz in the media territory. Should he be left to rest in peace?
The answer may probably be ‘No’ and that’s because Michael Jackson left behind his private diary carrying his deepest desire. The multi-billionaire singer had 39 years of a successful music career but he still needed something else…to be immortalized in film!
Michael’s diary was found and in it the singer disclosed his deepest desire to get into the silver screen. He wrote, “If I don’t concentrate on film, no immortalization. [I want to be] better than Kelly and Astaire . . . the greatest ever.” He challenged himself to be “in the likes of Chaplin, Michelangelo, Disney. These men Demanded Perfection Innovation always.”
According to New York Post, Michael Jackson called on American Idol creator Simon Fuller to help him bring his movie dream to life, “Develop [undecipherable] 2 a year for 6 years . . . a movie a year for the next 5 years,” Jackson wrote. “Simon Fuller . . . call Fuller myself.”
If Michael Jackson had succeeded with his big plan, he would become the “first multi-billionaire entertainer-actor-director” in the world. Wonder how that movie could have looked like?
The Jackson family’s lawyers are requesting Michael’s writings to be admitted into evidence in his manslaughter case so they can prove that the 50-year-old entertainer still had future money-making plans.

How nice?

I Work For My Success” – Davido Fires At Critics

“Omo Baba Olowo” crooner, David Adeleke a.k.a, Davido, is very mad at his critics at the moment. And he has fired a very stern warning for them to stop equating his success with his father’s wealth.
The young man who has been working so hard to achieve what he has today bared his mind in an interview on Vox Africa where he said a lot of people attribute his rise to his family background but that for him, he has worked so hard to hone his talents and make a life for himself.
The ‘Skelewu’ dance creator has a billionaire father and many say he has been banking on his dad’s wealth to get to where he is but the chap thinks otherwise. Many are of the opinion that he has it easy being the son of the business tycoon but they also do not know that some of these rich kids have got a lot to deal with especially with filling the huge shoes left by their parents.

BBA Wiiner, DILLISH MATHEWS Finally Re-Unites With Her Dad.

Success has a way of bringing even long lost relations together as Big Brother Africa The Chase winner, Dillish Mathews finally meets her real father. The young lady who, all her life, believed she was a Namibian, only got to know that her real father was a retired Kenyan military officer who got her mother pregnant during a peace keeping mission.
Immediately the man came up after she won the $300,000 prize money, many tongues wagged, calling him a gold digger. It was only after her mother came out to state that Guyo was Dillish’ father that the whole brouhaha came to an end and she actually looked forward to meeting him, a dream she finally got in an emotional reunion that brought tears into her eyes.
They danced, kissed, made up and forgave the past.

Actress, Hilda Dokubo Takes On Senator Yerima: “He Is A Mad Man.

Hilda-Dokubo

Senator Sani Yerima, the man who has been campaigning for child marriage has had another hit from a Nigerian actress, Hilda Dokubo. In a stinging attack, the actress calls him a mad man for daring to advocate that kids as young as 13 years old should be given out in marriage. The actress, who ventured into politics in her native Rivers State, also condemned the controversial Senator who got married to a 13-year-old girl from Egypt few years ago. The veteran actress said that Senator Yerima is a mad man and should be avoided at all cost. In her own words, Hilda said: “I am a proud Nigerian, always so proud of my nationality that I carry my passport with a lot of respect. I was a girl child, loved, protected and guided so much by all the adults around me at the time; by the actions of our Senators, I don’t know what to do with my passport the next time I approach another’s border. Listening to our Senators discuss, debate and finally deviate from the original discussion, to now publicly endorsing and accepting that a majority of those who represent people are insane and sexual perverts who are so hungry for completely under developed bodies of female children, that they now have set a new age of adulthood and a new description for womanhood. Hopefully, they’ll make the Guinness Book of Records as world sexual perverts. I do not think that any religion hates the girl child that much that their law will approve of early deaths by self-slavery. When Yerima returned with the 13 year old Egyptian child, did any of the security agencies try to find out if the child was not stolen, kidnapped or even an abductee by our insane Senator? Because she was not married under Egyptian law and she was not his wife under they both arrived Nigeria. My real worry is the safety of our female children around these perverts in the National Assembly including their own children. Can any girl child escape being raped by them? Will female children around them escape VVF?, Will their female children be allowed to go to school?” Well said, Hilda. She makes a list of Nigerian actresses who have taken on the Senator including Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Stella Damasus, Tonto Dikeh and others.

“The Man Who Wants Me Will Suffer” - Frank Edoho's Ex-Wife.

Katherine Obiang, the Cameroonian born Nigerian On Air Personality and ex-wife of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire anchor man, Frank Edoho, seems not to be in a hurry to tie down a man three years after the collapse of her marriage and has rather stated that any man who wants to come into her life will suffer untold hardship.

Katherine, who said this recently in an interview, pointed out that though she has many men who want to marry her, she has made it clear that the would-be Mr. Right is definitely going to suffer because she is chasing money at the moment and has no time to pay attention to any relationship. This is what she said: “I am taking a breather. Right now, I have young children. After you have been in a relationship for so long, I think it is healthy to open your mind to other things. Let’s chase money first, it will come along. When you look at your children, you want to give them so many things, so let me focus on that. Anyone who comes into my life now is just coming to suffer. I can’t focus on that person. It is not that I don’t get attention, I do. I get all sorts of attention, but I am not ready.
” So guys, are you willing to take up the challenge?

After listening to ‘The List’, a diss track by Rukus (of eLDee’s Trybe Records), Ice Prince Zamani has responded in style, and definitely this gets hotter.

Ice Prince (who recently released an international collaborative single) has taken to twitter this morning to respond to the diss from Rukus. Check out his tweets.
